Hello, and welcome to the Fall 2018 District Newsletter Team! The main focus for this team will be to promote personal, face-to-face interactions with local businesses to get the accomplishments of Arcadia students out to the general public. All of the walks will be great bonding experiences and a good chance to practice your professionalism and socializing skills! Interested? Here are some general guidelines.
- Walks will usually be on Saturday/Sunday afternoons
- There will be two walks per month, but only one walk is mandatory for those officially on the team
- This allows for more flexibility among member schedules and offers an opportunity to add to your Task List
- Expect walks to last 1 to 2 hours
- Please wear your DCI shirt if you have one; please note, interns are eligible to receive shirts upon completing two semesters of DCI
- Depending on the number of people present, walks will be split up into two groups of two to three people
- It will be efficient and fast, and is a great bonding experience!
- Communication will be through the Facebook Messenger group chat / Facebook group
